Welcome

We welcome you to the San Bernardino Catholic Elementary Schools. Whether you are a prospective family, a current family, an alum, a Guardian Angel or all of the above, we encourage you to learn more about how we the SBCES offer accessible Catholic Education to families living in the city of San Bernardino.

We provide an education with values, enriching our students’ life by teaching the head, the heart and the hand. Our schools have been in the city of San Bernardino for over 120 years combined. Holy Rosary Academy has been serving since 1947 and Our Lady of The Assumption dates back to 1968.

We invite you to build community through the education of our young students. Our schools environments are welcoming and grow with our families. We strive to model inclusive practices and build on the experiences that our families bring. Our legacy is the history we write with the success of our students.

We have two campuses; parents can choose either one of our schools for their children from preschool through 8th grade. Our small classrooms give students the attention they need to learn and our teachers the environment to teach meeting their students’ needs.

Come visit, call us and get involved!

About Us

The vision of the Catholic Schools in the city of San Bernardino is to educate the whole child. This means that we instruct academic curriculum but do not underestimate the need to build character and teach values. San Bernardino is fortunate to have two schools, Holy Rosary Academy (HRA) and Our Lady Assumption (OLA). We are here to serve all families. If you want to know more about our service please feel free to come by any time or call and have your questions answered. We offer various payment plans, scholarships and family discounts.
